Androcles and the Lion by Aurand Harris is a commedia dell’arté TYA show. The majority of the cast wears commedia masks.
Prologue is the Narrator and Lion, and very briefly a Wall between Lelio and Isabella.

Androcles is the Harlequinn. He's the very poor servant of Pantalone.
Androcles wears the traditional harlequin multi-colored diamond pattern under a tattered coat and hat. His mask has bright round cheeks and appears cheerful.
Pantalone is characterized by his greed and old age.
His outer coat has gold detail adorning the entire outside. His mask has heavy wrinkles and a large nose.
Isabella is one of the Innamorati, or young lovers.
Isabella does not wear a mask. Her bodice and sleeves have flowers with pearl centers.
Lelio is on of the Innamorati, or young lovers.
His shirt and sleeves have flowers with pearl centers.
Captain is Il Capitano, characterized by bragging and being the subject of jokes.
Captain is bright and loud, especially in his clothing. His mask is characterized by a big nose and mustache.
